SMR Stakeholder Dialogue

7 November 2017, 09:00 - 18:00
Thessaloniki 546 40, Greece
Thessaloniki City Hall, Leof. Vasileos Georgiou 1
The Stakeholder Dialogue will bring together the SMR project Tier 1 and 2 cities and their stakeholders to exchange knowledge and experience with the latest group of cities to join the project: Tier 3. The event will be held in the City Hall of Tier 3 city of Thessaloniki and will be opened by Thessoniki's Mayor Yiannis Boutaris. The Stakeholder Dialogue will introduce the project's five tools in the context of an intensive exchange of best practices and good examples from the participating cities. Each session will see voices from the SMR Tier 1 and Tier 2 cities explaining how they implemented successful measures to boost resilience in their cities.

The Stakeholder Dialogue will be the official launch of the SMR Tier 3 programme, where the project is welcoming a new group of cities into the project to validate the project tools and the overall management resilience management process proposed by SMR as a 'European Resilience Management Guideline'. Four tools are already available to cities: the Resilience Maturity Model, Risk Systemicity Questionnaire, Resilience Engagement and Communication Tool and Resilience Policies Tool. The final tool, the City Dynamics Model, will be made public before the event.
